I grew up in a musical family, always encouraged to engage with self expression through music. I first learnt the ukulele :::) and quickly began loving it taking it to school every day haha. Singing wasn't my initial love, as my sister had a way better voice than me. But I quickly took to learning my favourite pop songs and performing them on Queen st, in Auckland. I have now been busking for 8 years and though its still exhilirating, I picked up another instrument along the way: the computer haha.

 

During high school I was gifted a recording mic and the latest version of Ableton. This was a whole new world !! I took to writing my own songs with electronic elements, and by the end of high school it was my outlet for all my deepest emotions and darkest feelings. Creating this music was the most amazing rush, more than I had ever experienced. I came down to Wellington to study music, and follow this passion wherever it would take me. At the moment, I am working on combining my busking, and my production, into a complete project by the end of the year ::)
